Where and How do I book a stall?

Booking for a Stall/Stand can be made on the WhatsApp group on a Thursday from 6am - till 10pm only or contact Trevor on 0840603233 Stall Bookings to be paid in ADVANCE into Capitec Bank, acc#1324412311 B/C 470010 (your Name as reference.) (Thursday latest)
One stand per paid fee; each stand location is first come first.

When do I get my stall Number?

Friday after 10 am WhatsApp message is sent to booked venders with a stall allocation number

Fees involved? How much do I pay?

General stalls Fees Payment explained: 10% of sales minimum of R50. eg sales under R500 = R50 (minimum) , R700 = R70, R1000 = R100, minus the deposit of R50 paid as Booking fee. After reconciling, the balance will be collected at the end of the day.

Food Stalls or food trailer is R150 Booking fee
10% of sales minimum of R150. eg sales under R1500 = R150 (minimum) , R1700 = R170, R2000 = R200, minus the deposit of R150 paid as Booking fee. After reconciling, the balance will be collected at the end of the day.

If I get caught being dishonest and not paying what is due?

You will NOT be allowed to return to the market.
Honesty is the best policy.

How big are the Stalls?

Sizes are 4m x 4m. small stands are 2m x 2m (AVAILABLE from 7 December 2020)

What time can we start unpacking?

Venders arrive from 6:00 am to 7am to unpack their goods.

SETUP RULES

IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO DISPLAY ANY GOODS DIRECTLY ON THE GROUND IN FRONT OF YOUR TABLE, ALL GOODS HAVE TO BE PLACES PROPERLY INSIDE A BOX, CONTAINER OR ANY HARD CASE. NOTHING CAN BE DISPLAYED DIRECTLY ON THE GROUND ANYMORE NOT EVEN PLACE ON A BLANKET AS THE GOODS HAVE TO BE UP FROM THE FLOOR (including shoes.)

What are our Trading Hours?

Trading starts at 7am to 2 pm Saturdays

What time can we leave/packup?

Venders STRIKE ONLY at 2 pm on Saturday afternoon.

If I have too much goods?

Pack neatly under the tables,
NO Clothes and items on the ground!

May I departure early if all my goods are sold?

No, If you are sold out early, place a notice that you are out of stock.

Do we have to Supply/Bring our own tables?

Yes, Bring your own tables chairs and gazebo, Tables may be hired at R30 Please request while booking.

Can I sell food or have a food stall?

Food stalls will be screened on what types of food they can sell; Food Venders need a C.O.A certificate for health and safety regulations and LP Gas certificate.
No electricity will be supplied to food venders so only Gas will be allowed.
NO wood fires allowed.

If it rains Do I lose my deposit?

In case of rain a 50% deposit will be kept by Happy Souls Market to cover expenses, you will only be refunded 50% or may keep that 50% as a credit towards the next market. This only applies if WE cancel the market.

Stand Security

Vendors are responsible for securing their stands and the event Organizer Happy Souls is not responsible for loss, damage or bad weather or any case of health issues by the vendors, injuries etc. during the event.

Damages to Property

Any damages to the property due to negligence of any trader the trader will be responsible for the damages caused to the property.

Screaming and shouting?

Any disputes between traders will be handled in a professional manner and if not, will be asked to vacate premises with immediate effect.

Cancellation of stall

Cancellation will be allowed up to 24 hours before the booked date. There after Booking fee will be forfeited.

Marketing

• The Happy Souls Market has extensive online marketing strategies in place.
• Please do not create your own event but rather advertise/share ours.
• We offer advertising opportunities to showcase your products on our website.
